Lindab receives order worth SEK 50 m in Russia
Lindab has received an order worth approximately SEK 50 m to design and supply several steel buildings near Grozny in the Chechen republic, Russia.
The order comprises 4 factories with a total surface of more than 27,000 square metres and will be built on one site to accommodate production lines for various construction materials. The order has been placed by ZAO "IST-Kazbek", member of the local group of companies who are now developing the new industrial zone "Innovational Constructional Technopark Kazbek".
David Brodetsky, Lindab's President and CEO commented: "The customer visited several of our reference projects in Azerbaijan and Southern Russia, as well as our production plants in Yaroslavl and Luxembourg before placing the order. We are very pleased to be the chosen supplier of the pre-engineered steel buildings. It is an important reference for Lindab in the region."
The shipments are scheduled to start in August and will continue until December 2012.
